Forest grouse hunting at Camp Svanis
Camp Svanis bids you a warm welcome to an exciting and eventful grouse hunt in the forests of Swedish Lapland.
Camp Svanis, which is located about 35 km north of Boden, is a wilderness facility specialising in hunting and fishing. Hunting begins directly adjacent to the camp, and is operated in the form of traditional Norrbotten tree dog hunting, where you the hunting guest are always at the centre of events. Capercaillie and black grouse are hunted, and our knowledgeable guides and well-qualified hunting dogs will do their utmost so that you the hunting guest will have a grand and rewarding hunting experience. Camp Svanis offers a full service programme that includes authentic accommodation in a multibed cabin with a relaxing wood heated sauna and wooden bath. Day 1: the guests arrive at camp Svanis, where they check in, then visit the shooting range to set their sights. The evening is for dinner and a runthrough of the hunting. A relaxing sauna rounds off the evening. Day 2: after an early and delicious breakfast we set off for the hunting grounds. Hunting is together with a tree dog and hunting guide. The terrain is varied and hilly in places. We take a break during the day for lunch and refreshments, which are served and enjoyed around a campfire. Day 3: as for Day 2. Day 4: we begin the day with breakfast and hunt until lunchtime. We then assemble to add up the hunting days. Travel home.
