Bear hunting in Hamra, Orsa Finnmark
Welcome to the excitement of bear hunting among one of the biggest bear populations in Sweden, in Hamra, Orsa Finnmark. We have 3,000 hectares of varied countryside, mountain, bog and forest. Logging roads run through the area, which has very little traffic.

Day 1 assembly for information
We divide the area into hunting sections.
Stations are allocated.
A map to each hunter.
One morning hunting session.
Assembly for lunch together in the lávvu tepee.
One afternoon hunting session. Assembly ALWAYS at the end of the hunting day.
The hunting team has dogs and if the guest hunters bring their own dogs a rota is used.
Option of postponing the hunting session on Day 1
Number of bears permitted for the 2011 season not yet decided (for 2010, 30 bears)
Accommodation
Completely modern timber cabins, shared bedrooms. Shower/ toilet.
Bedlinen/ towels may be hired
Cleaning out 500 SEK
Single room supplement 250 SEK per night
Extra overnight stays may be booked
Lunch is served in the lávvu tepee by our crewmen
dinner is served in the fully licensed restaurant, open every evening.

Rules & Facts
Gun permit(s) and insurance must be shown. State bear hunting permit.
Walkie-talkie obligatory.
Felled bear
Meat goes to Hamra Vildmarkscenter.
Skin goes to marksman, who is responsible for cost of flaying, chip tagging and transport.
